Outstanding Award at the 8th "Kede Cup"

The 8th "Kede Cup" National University Student Drone Aerial Photography Competition hosted by the Kede College of Capital Normal University is a highly regarded event in the field of drone aerial photography nationwide. Every year, students from universities across the country converge in Beijing to tell stories from the unique perspective of drone photography.

Zhao Yangchun, who graduated from LIFE in Associate of Business Studies (Business Management) in 2023 and is now a third-year student in BBA (Hons) - Digital Business at Lingnan University, together with Wang Zhenyu, who graduated from LIFE in Higher Diploma in Chinese Media Writing and Production in 2023, represented Lingnan University in the competition in Beijing. They continuously communicated with the organizing committee and students from other universities about the details of the competition before and during the event. They learned to manage stress, and maintained the quality of their work, ultimately winning an Outstanding Award. Lingnan is the first overseas university team in the history of the competition and the first award-winning team from Hong Kong. Their participation and award have played a significant role in promoting exchanges between universities in Beijing and Hong Kong and the interaction among students from both places.
